TM Studios is a dedicated, passionate production company and creative content agency - representing a hub of creatives producing beautiful, engaging, innovative and authentic storytelling and content.

We started 20 years ago as TobyMadden - a photojournalist and then film maker and editor.

Toby began his career as a photojournalist for Ely Hoy national newspaper in Ecuador before returning to England to join The Independent as a staff photographer.

In 2007, he left the Independent to concentrate on film-making.

For the last 12 years, he has worked with major INGOS producing short films for campaigns, documentaries in the charity and commercial sector.

During this time, Antonia joined TobyMadden taking over and developing the production side of the business.

Antonia began her career in International Development 25 years ago as a VSO volunteer.  Gaining a Masters in International Development, she then went on to manage women and refugee projects for INGOs and NGOs abroad and in the UK.  

As Antonia’s passion for advocacy and human rights grew, she qualified as a counselling psychotherapist working with women survivors of sexual violence and trauma.

This work continued in a broader scope at TobyMadden through script writing, film production and working with clients to develop engaging story and content for their stakeholders, donors, customers and clients.

LUKE DE LA NOUGEREDE

Luke most recently worked with us on March4Women. Based in London, Luke is an award-winning filmmaker who has created content for leading channels and brands, including the BBC, Channel 4 & British Airways. Luke experiments with innovative techniques and technology across a versatile range of mediums and subjects whilst ensuring every project retains a distinctive aesthetic.

MIRCO VALENCIA

Originally from the south of Italy, Mirco graduated from the prestigious, Academy Award-winning film course at the University of Westminster. He has directed a number of short film and documentary projects, as well as commercial work. His films have been selected and awarded in a wide range of international film festivals including Oscar® qualifying Busan International S. F. F, BAFTA qualifying Aesthetica S. F. F, European Film Festival of Lille, and Giffoni F. F. to name just a few.

RICHARD GLADMAN

Richard is a freelance Creative Director and Motion Designer based in Brighton, UK. Richard most recently worked with TM Studios on our promo video for BigChange. He works with brands, studios, agencies and businesses of all sizes to create bespoke, animated videos from conception to delivery. He predominantly uses Adobe After Effects and Maxon Cinema 4D.

LAURA JARVIS

Laura most recently worked with us on our TM Studios branding. Laura is a passionate designer, based in London, with over 15 years’ experience, and a degree in Typography and Graphic Communication. For the last 2 years she has combined working on her own design projects for clients such as Creative United, at PG One working across accounts for Ariel and Aussie Hair. Prior to that Laura worked as a Senior Designer for Saatchi & Saatchi X for 5 years,

GABI FRODEN

Gabi most recently worked with us on our film for ACF Canada. Gabi is an illustrator and writer, who has published various childrens’ books translated to a number of languages. Her clients include The Guardian, the Observer, BBC, Huffington Post, NHS, Age UK, Action Against Hunger, the Overseas Development Institute (ODI), Positives Negatives and several publishers.

Joe Bidmead

Joe is a Director, Camera Operator, VR Specialist and Video Editor. Joe most recently worked with us on our Nic Hamilton film. He has worked as a film-maker for over five years, and has amassed a wealth of experience working as a director and camera operator for clients such as Land Rover, Kuoni, Water Aid, House of Lords, Mazda, Hyundai, Holiday Inn, Jaguar and many more leading brands and charities.

ADAM ZYGADLO

Adam is a motion graphic designer, who most recently worked with us on a film for ACF Canada. He has over 10 years’ experience in producing videos, ranging from online awareness films and charity animations to corporate videos. His recent clients have included Kids in Need of Defence, Action Against Hunger, UN Women & Danish Refugee Council and Christian Aid.

GANI NAYLOR

Gani most recently worked with us on our March4Women event. He is a freelance camera operator, editor and visual storyteller with a keen eye for magical moments that convey connection and beauty. As a facilitator and creative arts educator, Gani is also skilled and experienced at putting people at ease, helping them explore the truth of their own ideas and unique creative potential. His clients have included TATE Modern, Sunday Times and the We Are Family Foundation.
