BACK TO SCHOOL

“Going back to school can be difficult for any child but for many girls, stigma and inadequate facilities, keep them out of school.” Shot on location in Tanzania for Action Against Hunger this film offers hope in the form of simple, cheap solutions. I spent a day with both girls, from getting themselves ready for school to walking the few miles it took them to get to school. I was struck by how not only did they have to navigate inadequate facilities and restricted access to disposable sanitary-wear they also had the entire day without food, only having the one meal at the end of the day.

We been lucky to travel all over the world with Action Against Hunger and the films we have made have raised a lot of money and showcased many of the amazing projects they do.
